  • Castle Rock Middle School

A free staff development opportunity Dec. 5, 2015. Castle Rock Middle School social studies team would love to have you come out and participate in this wonderful staff development through the Ashbrook Center of Ashland University and teachingamericanhistory.org.  The Ashbrook Center seminars are a foot in the door to being selected for one of their weekends in historic places as well as providing access to a wealth of other opportunities. My team was lucky enough to get to go stay at Mt. Vernon because of my participation in previous workshops. We would love to have our seminar filled with all 20 spots that are available and have you experience the quality academic discussion on the evolution of American freedom in our democracy. Ashbrook provides food, certificates, and re-licensure credit as well as a respected historian to lead discussion in a Socratic Seminar format. Join us for the academic fun.
